An 18-year-old girl was allegedly abducted in an auto-rickshaw and was “sexually harassed” inside the vehicle running near Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The incident has provoked a political line in the state, in which the opposition BJP blamed MK Stalin- led the DMK government for the increasing number of cases.

According to the police, the incident took place on Monday night when the woman Kilambakkam bus was waiting for a bus outside the terminus.

When the auto-rickshaw driver asked him, the woman rejected the offer to ride. However, he pulled her in despite refusing her and sexually assaulted her. Later, two more men got into three-wheelers and sexually assaulted him at Knifepoint, NDTV Informed

The woman was screaming as an auto-rickshaw through the roads. On hearing his cry, some passers -by vigilant the police and a police team started chasing the vehicle.
