Rukh Gupta has been named the new Chief Minister of Delhi by the Bharatiya Janata Party, who returned to the national capital with a wide majority.
The total assets of BJP MLA from Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency are Rs 5.3 crore and Rs 1.2 crore in the liabilities. In his affidavit filed for the assembly elections, he announced that his source of income was by his profession as a lawyer. Apart from being shared in various companies, it has Rs 1,48,000 and Rs 22,42,242 in the bank account.
His annual income has shown ups and downs in recent years. In 2023-24, he announced an income of Rs 6.92 lakh in 2023 as compared to Rs 4.87 lakh. His income in 2021-22 was Rs 6.51 lakh, Rs 6.07 lakh in 2020-21 and Rs 5.89 lakh in 2019-20.
Rekha and her husband, Manish Gupta, have a life insurance policy of Rs 53,68,323 and is a car registered in the name of the husband. He owns a house in Rohini of Rs 30 lakh.

An active member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, he completed LLB from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. He started his political journey in 1992 as a member of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
Currently, a BJP-ruled state is ready to be the only woman CM, Rekha served as the General Secretary and Chairman of the Students Union of Delhi University between 1996-97. He also worked as the Secretary of the BJP Yuva Morcha, Delhi (2003–2004), and then as the National Secretary (2004–2006).
In 2025, he defeated AAP Hollen MLA Bandana Kumari by 29,595 votes from Shalimar Bagh seat, which was later winning since 2013.
His election bid in the 2013 assembly elections failed and it is to win a assembly pole for the first time.
Before entering the Poll Maidan in 2013, she was a member of the BJP’s National Executive since March 2010. He also worked as a councilor of North Pitampura (Ward 54) in 2007 and 2012.
