Bihar man opened fire to Siwan Hospital, hits the patient while chasing


A crook set fire to a hospital in Bihar, who injured a patient from Bihar. An armed man with a criminal record initially targeted a guard, but hit a patient.

The incident occurred at a time when a criminal, known as Saddam Hussain, surrendered in court on Tuesday, after which he was brought to the same hospital for a medical checkup by the police.

The police suspected that the shooter, Arbaz Alam, had come to the hospital to kill Hussain, reported NDTV. The hospital guard saw the shooter entering the women’s washroom in the hospital and tried to control it.

Before entering the washroom, Alam went down from the corridor, holding a handgun openly. When the shooter opposed the guard’s attempt to stop him from running, the guard rolled his baton and hit Alam, who then ran out of the hospital, the police said.

After reaching outside the hospital, he fired some shots on the guard, missing and hit a patient.

The patient was identified as a local resident Alok Tiwari, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Other guards posted at the hospital gate also joined the chase and together they managed to pin the accused.

The shooter was soon handed over to the police and two bullets and a motorcycle were recovered from him, police said he was under influence.

On Sunday, unknown assailants shot a security personnel twice in a government hospital in Saharsa, Bihar. Security personnel, identified as Sanjeev Kumar, were seriously injured in the incident, after which the doctors treated him.

According to local media reports, the status of security personnel was important.

Subodh Kumar, in -charge of Sadar police station, said that a police team was sent to the spot as soon as he got information about the firing.
Initial investigation revealed that a Bhanu Kumar had set the fire. However, the reason for the attack was not clear and the police have started raids to arrest the accused.
