China denies reports of sending cargo aircraft with military supply to Pakistan

The Chinese army on Monday (May 12, 2025) denied reports that its largest military cargo aircraft had supplied arms to Pakistan and warned of legal action against those who spread such rumors.

The People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAF) has denied that its Xi’an Y-20 military transport aircraft has supplied to Pakistan.

On Monday (May 12, 2025) on the official website of the Chinese Defense Ministry, a report said in a statement that after seeing a large amount of information on the Internet about “relief supply in Pakistan”, such claims were untrue.

PLAF also posted several screenshots of photos and words, who shared misinformation, each of which stamped with the red word “rumor”.

“Internet is not beyond the law! People who produce and spread military rumors will be legally attributed to!” Added to the report.

The refusal by the PLA, which shares close ties with its Pakistan counterpart, was considered important, coming two days later to stop the need for Islamabad for all firing and military functions and immediate replica between India and Pakistan.

According to a recent report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), China has emerged as the largest arms supplier for Pakistan, accounting for the purchase of 81% of the weapons of the all-visitor associate of China from 2020 to 2024. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lynn Gian told the media last week that China is ready to maintain communication with both sides and plays a creative role for achieving a broad and permanent ceasefire and protecting regional peace and stability.
