ChorusThe latest historical epic starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashamika Mandanna is performing exceptionally well at the box office, with an impressive growth on day 5.
On Tuesday, the film earned Rs 25.75 crore, causing a total of Rs 171.28 crore. It marks a slightly 2% increase from its day 4 collections of Rs 24 crore.
The film had a spectacular opening weekend, which used to earn Rs 31 crore on day 1, followed by Rs 39.30 crore on 2 days 2 and Rs 48.5 crore on day 3. On its first Monday, the film collected Rs 24.10 crore.
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Madock Films Banner, Chorus The Maratha king depicted by Vicky Kaushal is based on the life of Sambhaji.
Rashmika Mandanna played the role of Queen Yasubai, while Akshaye Khanna plays Aurangzeb.
Members of other notable artists include Sarsenapati Hambiro Mohite and Divya Dutta Soyarabai as Ashutosh Rana.
The film is adapted to Marathi novel Chhawa by Shivaji Sawant. The music and score for the film is composed by AR Rahman, which has songs by Irshad Kamil.
