Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta took over the office after organizing a grand swearing in at Ramlila Maidan in the national capital on Thursday. Along with Gupta, Parvesh Verma was sworn in as Deputy Chief Minister, while five other MLAs were sworn in as cabinet ministers.
After the swearing -in ceremony, the Delhi Cabinet along with Gupta took its shape with the house and finance departments, while Parvesh Verma educated and Majinder Singh Sirsa allotted the Health Department.

The Bharatiya Janata Party declared Rekha Sharma’s name as Delhi CM on Wednesday during the Legislature Party meeting. He won his first assembly election from Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency this time.
After taking oath, Gupta went to the Delhi Secretariat with a swearing -in and assumed the Chief Minister’s charge.
Later, the leader reached the bank of Yamuna and performed the Yamuna Aarti.
Gupta held the first cabinet meeting amidst expectations of major announcements with ministers.
The PTI quotation states that the cabinet is likely to decide about the implementation of Mahaka Samriddhi Yojana, which pays Rs 2,500 to women eligible for monthly payment of Rs 2,500.
