The Delhi assembly elections secured 48 seats out of 70 seats with 45.61% vote share to BJP, while AAP had reduced to just 22 seats. The Congress faced full wipeout for the third consecutive time. Analysts say the Congress played an important role in the defeat of AAP by cutting votes in at least 10 important constituencies including New Delhi, Jangpura and Greater Kailash.
