Delhi Election 2025: Delhi’s Jat community has strong faith in BJP, gives full support with votes

The Delhi assembly elections have created a terrible competition between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which raises many questions in the political scenario. The BJP won a significant victory with strong support from the Jat community, especially in areas that were once AAP strongholds. While AAP got 43.6% of the votes, 2% margin was reflected in seat inequality, as the BJP managed to secure a large part of the seats. After AAP’s defeat, questions have been raised about Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, especially about the promises made during his tenure. Corruption allegations have been intensified, with allegations related to his extraordinary lifestyle and expensive taste. On the other hand, the BJP effectively communicated its strategies and promises to the public, which led to a decisive victory. Now, AAP finds himself in the role of the opposition, with 22 MLAs, strengthens its position as a malignant opposition party. In contrast, the position of the Congress in Delhi politics has become further weakened, and it is moving towards political irrelevance. The strong presence of AAP as the opposition is now forcing the Congress to accept its low role in Delhi’s political future.
