In the newly formed Delhi assemblyA new report published on Sunday states that all the assets except nine new MLAs are more than Rs 1 crore.
The average of Rs 22.04 crore per assets per property per win in Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 is above Rs 14.29 crore in 2020.
The Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) and Delhi Election Watch have analyzed the self-refuse affidavits of all 70 winning candidates in the Delhi 2025 assembly elections.
According to the report, 61 Legislator Bharat has assets worth more than Rs 1 crore from the Janata Party (BJP) and three of them have assets worth more than Rs 100 crore.
The richest of them is BJP Kernel SinghWho defeated three -time MLA Satyendra Jain in Shakur Basti. Singh has about 260 crores rupees. BJP’s Manjinder Singh Sirsa, who won from Rajouri Garden, was the second richest with Rs 248 crore. Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, who defeated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal in New Delhi, is the third richest with assets worth more than Rs 115 crore.
“The total assets of 70 winning candidates are Rs 1,542 crore. Average of property according to winning candidates Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 22.04 crores. The average of the property per MLA was Rs 14.29 crore in the Delhi Assembly Elections 2020. The winning candidate for 48 BJP MLAs is Rs 28.59 crore per average and an average assets of 22 AAP MLAs is Rs 7.74 crore, “the report shows in the report.
In the list of top 10 richest legislators, only one Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was from. Ram Singh Netaji, MLA from Badarpur of AAP, has a money of Rs 89 crore. The remaining nine richest MLAs are from BJP.
AAP’s Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha has been given the lowest space, with assets of Rs 14 lakh.
The other non-Kororpal MLA AAP’s Prem Chauhan (Deoli; 16.49 lakh rupees) is; Ravi Kant of BJP (Trilokpuri; 20.47 lakh rupees); AAP’s Som Dutt (Sadar Bazar; 21.20 lakh rupees); AAP’s special Ravi (Karol Bagh; 41.47 lakh rupees); AAP’s Kuldeep Kumar (Kondli; 53 lakh rupees); Veer Singh Dhingan of AAP (Seema Puri; 58.37 lakh rupees); BJP’s Kailash Gangwal (Madipur; 76.79 lakh rupees); And AAP’s Aapi (Kalakji; 76.93 lakh rupees).
Seven MLAs below the age of 40 years
To become an MLA at the age of 31, Umang Bajaj from Rajinder Nagar is the youngest of all of them. The top three youngest MLAs are from BJP and are 31 and 32 years of age. Trilokpuri MLA Ravi Kant, 32, and Matiala MLA Sandeep Sehrawat (32) are the other two MLAs.
Remaining four Legislator Below -40 are from AAP in the age group. Matia Mahal AAP MLA Ali Mohammad Iqbal is 34 years old, while Kondli MLA Kuldeep Kumar is 35. Deoli MLA Prem Chauhan is 37 and Patel Nagar MLA Pravesh Ratna 39.
A total of three MLAs are above the age of 70 – Tri Nagar BJP MLA Tilak Ram Gupta, 73; Seema Puri Aap MLA Veer Singh Dhingan, 71, and Vishwas Nagar BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma, 71.

Five women at home
In the house of 70 members, there are only five women. Overcrowded AAP is the only female candidate who won this time, while the remaining four are from BJP – Rekha Gupta (Shalimar Bagh); Poonam Sharma (Wazirpur); Neelam Pahalwan (Najafgarh); And Shikha Roy (Greater Kailash).
About half of the MLAs facing criminal cases
70 Legislator31 (44%) has declared criminal cases against itself, below 43 in 2020, shown in the report.
A total of 17 (24%) MLA has declared serious criminal cases against him. In 2020, 37 MLAs were facing serious criminal cases. Amanatullah Khan of AAP is facing allegations of attempt to murder.
The report also shows that 16 (33%) out of 48 MLAs from BJP and 15 out of 22 MLAs from AAP have declared criminal cases against themselves. Seven are facing seven serious criminal cases from BJP and 10 from AAP.
