Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Tesla CEO Elone Musk today during his two -day visit to the United States starting on Wednesday. The Prime Minister met Musk, a close aide of Donald Trump, a few hours before the discussion with the US President.
Space, mobility, technology and innovation were the major topics discussed during the “very good” meeting with the technical billionaires, the Prime Minister said in a post on X. “He also discussed strengthening cooperation between Indian and American institutions in innovation, space exploration., Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainable Development,” said sources. “His discussion also touched opportunities to deepen cooperation in emerging technologies, entrepreneurship and good governance,” he said.
Three young children of SpaceX CEO reached Blair House, US President’s guest house with him. When he met PM Modi, he was seen sitting with Mr. Musk. Nurlink Director Shivon Zilis was also present at the meeting.

The Prime Minister also shared several pictures from the meeting, where he was seen talking to three young children. He gifted the children three books – “The Crescent Moon” from Rabindranath Tagore, “The Great RK Narayan Collection” and “Panchantant”.

Elon Musk was later seen exiting the Blair House, holding his hand with his son.

The Prime Minister today met the first US National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. Union Foreign Minister and NSA Ajit Dawal were also present in the meeting.
After his arrival, he met with Tulsi Gabbard, who took oath as the 8th US director of the National Intelligence in the presence of Trump a few hours ago.
He also met India-root entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.
PM Modi and Musk – which are overseeing the government’s efficiency department under Trump regime – have been found many times in the past. In 2015, he visited the Tesla feature in San Jose when he was given an individual tour by Musk.
During the meeting with PM Modi, Trump would insist on a “fair” trade deal with India, while the two leaders also discussed a new defense partnership and military sales during the meeting, said White House officials. PM Modi will organize a joint press conference with Trump.
This is the first visit to the United States after PM Modi’s “good friend” Trump’s election victory.
