Jharkhand Board Cancels Class 10 Hindi, Science Exam after ‘Paper Leakes’


Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) on Thursday abolished the class 10 board examinations for Hindi and science subjects, which was allegedly leaked and went viral on social media, according to an official of JAC.

JAC confirms the re -test of these subjects

The body of the state government confirmed that the re -test in these subjects was likely to be held later. According to PTI, Class 10 (Matriculation) and Class 12 (Intermediate) board examinations started on 11 February amid tight security in Jharkhand.

More than 7.84 lakh students are nominated for both board examinations, which are being done in two shifts. Class 10 examinations will be held from 9:45 am to 1:00 pm in the first session, while the class 12 examination will be scheduled from 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm for the second session.

About 4.33 lakh students are expected to appear for class 10 examinations at 1,297 examination centers, while more than 3.50 lakh students are expected to appear for intermediate examinations in 789 centers.
