Why Maggi Purnima Maha Kumbh is the most auspicious day for bathing
The next Royal Snin will be on Magi Purnima, which will be the fifth Royal Snin of Maha Kumbh. On this day, millions of people will gather in prayer to take a holy dip in Triveni Sangam, demand liberation and spiritual fulfillment. This is the reason that Magi Purnima is considered the most auspicious day to bathe in Maha Kumbh. Magi Purnima falls on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. On this full moon day, bathing, charity and fasting have special religious significance. Additionally, the fifth Royal Snin will be on this day in the pre -Prayagraj Maha Kumbh.
According to religious belief, on Magi Purnima, the deities descend on the earth and bathe at the Triveni Sangam in human form, pray and penance. This increases the spiritual significance of the Royal Snow on Magi Purnima. It is also an important day for fulfilling desires, obtaining liberation and other spiritual purposes. In addition, it ends on Magi Purnima for those who start their ‘imagination’ on Paush Purnima.
