Magi Purnima Sacred Bath began at the beginning of Wednesday (February 12, 2025) as millions of devotees gathered in the Maha -Kumbh Mela area, which were here amidst detailed traffic, crow control and security measures.
With the Magi Purnima bath, the month -long imagination will also end and will start leaving about 10 lakh Kalpavasis Maha Kumbh. The administration has requested all kalpvasis to follow traffic rules and use only authorized parking locations.
Millions of devotees have already taken a holy dip in the Triveni Sangam and other ghats since the bath started in the morning. Sangam leads to the nose to take a dip to millions of devotees.

Fair area ‘No Vehicle Area’ has been declared from 4 am on Tuesday. (February 11, 2025), while the entire city will become a vehicle area from 5 pm with exemption for emergency and essential services. To avoid traffic chaos, the parking site specified for public and private vehicles has been marked.
Preagraj ADG Bhanu Bhaskar said that special police forces have been deployed at all places where the mob management becomes challenging.
In order to ensure safe withdrawal of devotees from the fair area in case of any emergency, special traffic scheme will be implemented till the bath ceremony is completed.
Mr. Bhaskar said that real -time data is being collected from officials of toll plaza and neighboring districts to monitor and regulate the number of vehicles and routes to come.
