Under Rana’s personal guidance, Manu, who was struggling after the Tokyo Games, made a remarkable comeback and became the first Indian to win two medals in a version of the Olympics since independence.

Talking about his future plans, Manu said: “We are going for the World Cup in April, and then we have some domestic competitions in June.
“This will be after another World Cup in Munich. Then we will have the World Championship, perhaps in late October or November. My goal is World Championship. I want to be at the peak at the right time for the World Championship,” she said .
The season-end world championship will be held from 6–16 November in Cairo, Egypt.
His unprecedented success in Paris was not possible without Rana’s guidance and Manu agrees to it. On Tuesday, Manu considers Rana as his father at the age of 23, while the coach gives him courage and confidence to find and achieve great things in his game.
Rana has now been planted by NRAI as a high performance coach for the pistol shooters, but Manu still considers him his guru.
Rana had previously worked as a national coach for juniors for nearly a decade, building a strong base for Indian shooting.
After the Paris Olympics, Manu took a long break and was working on a elbow around his neck.
Earlier this month, Returning to the competitive circuit in national tests here, Manu Rhythm finished second behind Sangwan, but was satisfied with her performance.
