Purnia, Bihar:
Officials said a 16 -year -old girl was abducted in a wide day light in Purnia district of Bihar on Thursday. Caught on CCTV cameras, the incident took place around 5:30 pm when the girl was returning home from a nearby market.
The footage suggests that the girl is walking towards her house when two bike-borne men stopped a little ahead of the girl. One of the kidnappers got down from the vehicle and tried to take the girl. Initially, they could not catch her because she ran towards the road. However, the kidnappers chased the girl, picked her up, and forced her to sit on the bike.
The girl was designed to sit between two men, shows the video.
The kidnappers then ran away with the girl.
As the girl did not return home, her mother filed a complaint. Subsequently, the police filed a case of kidnapping.
Officials said the police are looking for the girl and the accused, and further investigation is going on.
In November last year, a 14 -year -old boy was kidnapped from Jamui district of Bihar. According to police, the kidnappers allegedly entered the boy’s house, put two bombs inside the house, and took the minor with them. The accused were wearing face masks at the time of crime.
Officials said the purpose behind planting the bomb was only to create fear among family members.
After kidnapping the accused, the boy, demanded a ransom from his family.
