The rising Karnataka badminton talent Rujula Ramu is set to start for India at the prestigious Badminton Asia Junior Championship in Indonesia in July.
The 17-year-old sealed his place directly through a tournament win-Ounx All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament here bypassing the recent-trial needs, underlining its current form.

Rujula’s visit began when she was seven years old, Badminton developed with an accidental family activity. Her parents allowed her to embrace the game on her own terms and promoted her passion.

Rewa University is a pre-university student, India number 1 in the U-19 category and ranks fifth among the seniors. In March 2025, he performed his international skills by winning a silver medal in German Juniors.
“I did not play so many international internationals. This was the first time against all these people [top-tier players from Malaysia, China, and Japan]I really started well. And it continued the whole time, “Rujula said.
Further, Prakash Padukone was selected for a strong performance in Asian Juniors and world juniors in the short -term aspirations of the Badminton Academy Trainee.

For this, Ruzula can take inspiration from stars like PV Sindhu and Ashwini Ponnappa.
