The first German Shepherd Specialty Show in Thiruvananthapuram shows dogs across the country

Seven -hour bus journey from Coimbatore to Thiruvananthapuram, orthopedic surgeon Dr. PST was worth it for Jambukeshwaran. There were many happy faces in the two-day event held in the last weekend, who saw 142 German Shepherds across India in their first show for the breed in Thiruvananthapuram. It was organized by the German Shepherd Dog Confederation India – Travancore Chapter.

“It was a dream-on-trunk moment for us for the German Shepherd Lovers. Constant efforts have been made to register the Travancore chapter and bring the show to Thiruvananthapuram, “says Kannan Rajiv, Secretary of the chapter.

Dogs were judged according to several parameters, in addition to the reaction of dogs to the dog’s gun shots, from dental configuration, eye color, body ratio and strength to angulation and gat.

Canine was brought from Punjab, Delhi, Lucknow, Haryana, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Ooty etc. “There was no participation from the Kolkata region due to logical reasons.
