This historic city of western India was a site for a women’s ODI series when an Australian side was thirsty to take revenge.
In Derby, in the semi -finals of the 2017 World Cup, Australians were shocked by India – to be more accurate by an incredible knock by Harmanpreet Kaur. This innings, out of 171 not 115 balls, will prove to be a significant turn for women’s game in India.

The BCA Stadium, where India hosted the West Indies in a women’s ODI series a few months ago, is one of those outstanding modern cricket grounds in India.
The next week, this stadium, about 25 km from the city, should be a witness to some attractive cricket, in which many of the planet’s largest stars leave for five franchisees. In the initial match, defending champion Royal Challengers Bangalore takes to Gujarat veterans, who is playing at home for the first time.
After Vadodara leg, the League will go to Bengaluru, Lucknow and then Mumbai, where the final will be played on 15 March. It would not only be interesting to see for some great cricket, but also to emerge some stars.
