Parliament Budget Session: The Rajya Sabha on Thursday witnessed a large -scale demonstration on the JPC report on the Waqf Amendment Bill, which was introduced in the House, triggered the ruckus by the opposition, who accused them of removing their “dissatisfaction notes”. Union’s Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju denied the opposition’s charge, saying that there was no deletion from the report. He said that JPC took complete action as per the rules.

Rijiju further stated that all dissatisfaction are connected to the appendix of the note report and the opposition cannot “mislead the house”.
