Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 closes on 14 February. This is the third season Cricket League. Mumbai Indians won the first season under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur. The winning team for the second season was Royal Challengers Bangalore, headed by Smriti Madhana.
In the Gujarat veteran opening match, the defending champion, Royal Challengers will play against Bangalore. The legendary will enjoy the benefits of the house as the match will be held in Vadodara, Gujarat.
WPL 2025 five teams are participating. Except for veterans and RCB, Delhi Capital, Mumbai IndiansAnd UP Warrier will also participate. The entire season will include 22 matches. The final will be held at Brabourne Stadium on 15 March Mumbai,
BCCI plans to share 80% competition benefits with franchise owners for the first five years. In the next five sessions, the franchise will receive 60%. From season 11 to 15, the stock will be 50%.
In addition, 80% of the central licensing rights will go to the revenue franchise. Teams can also earn money through goods, ticket sales and advertisements.

Meg Lanning (DC) holds the record for the most runs in the league with 676. The highest personal score is by Sophie Divine (RCB), who scored 99 runs against GG on 18 March 2023. No one has scored in WPL in a century.
The highest partnership is on 162 runs, which is obtained by Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning (DC) against RCB. Verma also hit the most sixes (33), while Meg Lanning is the fifty (6).
Sophie Aclestone (UPW) has the most wicket (27) while Ellis Perry (RCB) recorded the 6/15 best bowling figures against MI.
Richa Ghosh (RCB) has the highest dismissal as wicket-keeper (22), while Radha Yadav (DC) took the most catches (12). Delhi Capital recorded the highest total (223/2), while Gujarat veterans had the lowest (64).
