Yoga asana is considered one of the best forms of physical activity. However, yoga does not mean just asana; It has different parts and asanas only include a part of it. Other parts of yoga are Yama, Niama, Pranayama, Parivara, Dharna, Dhyan and Samadhi. Asana/ pose is also beneficial for your physical and mental health.

There are different types of yoga asanas and each of them has its own benefits. There are some yoga asanas which are beneficial to reduce back pain. There are some yoga pose here that can help reduce lower back pain.

Balasana

This posture is also known as the child’s currency. It helps to spread the body gently and relieve stress in the lower back, hips and thighs. It is a safe and restructural stretch that can help reduce stress from the spine and muscles and calm the nervous system.

Marjarisana-bitilasana

This posture is also known as Cat-Cay Purch. It improves flexibility and mobility in the spine, which helps reduce hardness and discomfort in the lower back. This posture also increases and strengthens the abdominal muscles which are important to support the lower back.

Ado Mukha Sannasan

This posture is also known as a dog at the bottom. This helps in spreading the body of the entire back, lengthening the spices and relieves stress in the lower back. This asana also helps to strengthen the core which helps support the lower back.

Bhujangasana

This posture is also known as Cobra Mudra. It helps to open the chest and spread the muscles to the lower back. This posture also helps in strengthening the spine and reducing pain that is caused by sedentary lifestyle or poor posture.

West

This posture is also known as sitting forward pose. It helps to spread hamstrings and lower back, which leads to tension in the spine. When hamstrings are tight, it can cause discomfort in the lower back. Therefore, this asana helps to spread hamstrings and reduce stress.
