Party leaders said that the BJP is searching for the option of being two Deputy Chief Minister in the new government.
Even after winning the national capital after 27 years, the party has not named the name of the Chief Minister. The party is likely to call the party after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s return from the United States. The first meeting of the BJP’s Legislature Party will be held on Sunday.
The meeting will be attended by 48 newly-taken MLAs and will be presided over by two senior members of the BJP national leadership appointed to oversee the selection of the Chief Minister and Cabinet members.

Reports said that the move to be two Deputy Chief Minister in Delhi will help the party to accommodate MLAs from various castes, communities and regional backgrounds.
Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are BJP -ruled states with two Deputy Chief Ministers.
In the last AAP government of Delhi, Manish Sisodia was the Deputy Chief Minister.
