Off-spinner R Ashwin has reduced the lack of balance between bat and ball in the Indian Premier League. In the first week of IPL 2025, only two matches in only two matches saw scores below 200, Ashwin said that the bowlers may soon need personal psychologists to face the mental stress of running at an unprecedented rate.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, Ashwin said that it is almost impossible for the bowlers to succeed on some IPL pitches, saying that the full toss is a better option than bowling in the pitch.
