Kashmiri MBBS student Komen Medical College cruelly ripped, beaten and threatened by seniors


A second year MBBS student at Al-Amin Medical College in Vijaypura, Karnataka has alleged that he was subjected to cruel ragging and physical attack by senior students. The victims, Hamm, meet Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir and have accused the students of abusive, threatening and physically attacking him from the 2019 batch.

Taking X, the National Convenor of J&K Students Union said, saying, a group of 6-8 persons came to a storm in their hostel room late at night and attacked the victim brutally. He repeatedly defeated him, forced him to record a video, apologizing under Dures, and issued chilling threats.

A student network, J&A Students Association for the safety of students in Jammu and Kashmir said, “This incident highlights the dangerous culture of ragging that continues to plague our institutions. Ragging is a crime, and those responsible for those Has to face strict legal action.

He urged Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah to take immediate cognizance of the incident and ensure the safety of students.

“Justice should be served, and strict action should be taken to prevent such acts in the future. We ask the Karnataka government, college administration, and law enforcement to work fast.
