Lulu Group International (LGI) has invested Crore 5,000 crore with a capacity to generate about 15,000 jobs in the next four to five years.
The announcement was made by LGI Executive Director Ma Ashraf Ali on Saturday (February 22, 2025) on the occasion of the Invest Kerala Global Summit. The company has given Industries Minister P. Announcement after consultation held with Rajiv.

Shri Ali said that the investment will go to Kalamasari and IT and Fintech Infrastructure in a food processing sector in the Global City Project proposed by the state government. He said that the work was still being done on the accurate breakdown of investment for various sectors.
He also said that towers in the group’s twin It Ipopark Kochi who will provide employment to about 25,000 professionals will be commissioned within three months. However, the project was not part of the latest investment parcel of 5,000 crores. Investments in retail areas including mini shopping mall across the state are already running.
Mr. Ali said that the proposed food processing sector will come in 20 acres with comprehensive cold storage facilities. Vegetables and fruits will be collected from the state and even parts of Tamil Nadu and moved to the Kochi airport. Price -added products will also be part of the project with 100% export orientation.
