Chandni Devi, who lives about five kilometers in Kahubar, said that she has received dangerous news from neighbors. The police quickly worked while breaking the lock to save Sanju Devi. Neighbors immediately offered her food and medicine, and later she was admitted to CCL Hospital for further treatment.
Akhilesh Kumar, who was working on the Dayalu Maidan at CCL, was working as a shovel operator in the Argada region. The incident has expressed concern about his mother’s treatment, especially given his role in the local workforce.
Meanwhile, the Mahakumba fair in prayer continued to attract millions of devotees. On Thursday, Triveni Sangam was crowded with people who took a dip in the holy water. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the incident, emphasized its importance and condemned the spread of misinformation about Maha Kumbh. He said that more than 56.25 crore devotees had already participated in the event, which highlights its vast cultural and religious significance.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitarman and BJP MP Tejashwi Surya also joined the Mahakumbe, praising him for the scale of the event. Surya, who participated in the holy dip with hundreds of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers, appreciated the organization of the administration of this program, called it a grand demonstration of unity and faith. Mahakumba, now in its last days, has prepared more than 550 million participants and is expected to end on 26 February. Many pilgrims are also visiting other holy sites in the region, including Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Ayodhya in Varanasi.
