The newly formed Delhi Cabinet led by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta approved the implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Health Insurance Scheme in the national capital and also decided to present 14 pending CAG reports in the first session of the assembly.
Decisions were taken after the first meeting of the Delhi Cabinet on Thursday which came after the swearing -in ceremony.

Addressing its first press conference, CM Rekha Gupta said that the previous AAP government did not allow the health scheme in the city, so that people could be prevented from availing its benefits.
The Chief Minister, along with his deputy Parvesh Verma and cabinet ministers, received the allegations after taking oath of office first during the day. After taking charge, Gupta said that not a single day would be wasted in realizing the “Vikasit Delhi” mission.
He said, “A single day will not be wasted in realizing our mission of ‘Vikasit Delhi’ (developed Delhi). We will fulfill all the commitments made to the people of Delhi.”
Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena administered the oath of office to MLA for the first time from Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Rajnath Singh, and the top brass of BJP, including the Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of several NDA -ruled states, attended the function. However, the AAP leaders, including former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Atisi, were not present at the ceremony.
